Winter/Spring

This month and last, with more than my usual enthusiasm, I went flower hunting.
Purple, yellow and green has been my winter theme.

As the last of my orchids shriveled up and the petals turned brown I salvaged what I could by pulling off the petals and keeping the lovely columns.
Desperate? Perhaps.

Three words of wisdom for you... Read The Help.
Read it.

I was asked to get together a collection of little drawings for a gift store at an upcoming exhibition.
Here are some of my favorites

They are little and affordable so hopefully I get some sales!

I am well and truly ready to say goodbye to Winter. How about you?
Everyday I find little tell-tails that Spring is on its way!
The daffodils are fading and freesias are taking their place.

Bring it on!
